Snuggled in between Downtown, Manitou Springs and West/Northwest is the quaint community of Old Colorado City. There are many homes in the Victorian and Craftsman style – some that have been recently remodeled and others that are waiting to be given just the right TLC. Homes near Colorado Avenue were built in the 1800s and the homes to the north were built in every decade until the area was built out.
In 2007, development began in a subdivision called Gold Hill Mesa. The homes in this traditional neighborhood development are stylish and more modern, yet fit in nicely with the overall feel of Old Colorado City. Construction in this area continues today.

The recently opened Red Rocks Open Space is great for scenic hikes and runs which include gorgeous views of the unusual and breathtaking rock formations of Garden of the Gods.
