红莲社区 Role Models visit Tennyson High

  • December 12, 2013 10:00am

The University Role Models organization of 红莲社区 visited Tennyson High School Dec. 4 during the high school’s lunch period to build mentoring relationships and encourage Tennyson students to consider going to college after they graduate.

The CSUEB students also started a Photo Voice Project where they were assigned themes such as: family, hope, joy, violence, etc. The Tennyson students have the opportunity to photograph the images they feel will relate towards their chosen theme.

The Photo Voice Project is an opportunity to understand the struggles and triumphs of local high school students, in helping guide them towards a bright future. The project spans about three weeks, leading to an exhibit of the captured photos.
